The Mine Shack is an area that can only be accessed from the Map, the Spy Phone or by finishing a game of Cart Surfer. It was a secret room until 4 November, 2008 (due to a map update). It is simply an entrance to the Mine. The Mine Shack is part of the outskirts of Club Penguin Island, commonly known as the Underground. Rory usually works on things here
No one knows who built the Mine Shack. It was discovered in summer of 2006 after the opening of the Underground.
The story of the Mine Shack goes: Some explorers hopped on a mine cart and followed the track to see where it would lead. After a zigzagging ride, they ended up outside in a pile of snow near the mountains of Club Penguin Island. They looked back at their exit and thought it looked like a door frame. It was covered in a lot of snow. By the time they had finished digging, they had uncovered the Mine Shack. No one knows how long it was there, covered in piles of snow.It is probably very old, since it is dirty and poorly built. But in January 2010, penguins gathered to help clear the rockslide. When it was cleared, a secret room appeared. In the room there is an Amethyst Pin that you can find by drilling in four different place in the room. This then makes a boulder move out of the way to open a new place called the "Secret Lake". There is a Diving suit members can buy for 50 coins. This leads to the members room "Underwater". Here there is an Coral Reef background.
In Mission 9, the Mine is closed and you need to weld a mine cart and put a transmitter in it, then you will push it into the Mine.
In Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force there is a Tool Shed behind it with mining equipment, pulleys, drilling uniforms, coal, etc.
When a friend is there, and you use the find friend icon, it says hidden on the map. It's really not hidden anymore!
A Yeti possibly appeared here.
You can climb the poles.
It is very unstable.
The Mine Tunnels seemed endless in the view of the Mine Shack.
During the 2007 Halloween Party, the Mine Shack was replaced with a large, abandoned house.
During the 2008 April Fool's Day Party, the Mine Shack looked like a connect the dots paper but when it was finished, a crayon pin appears on the side and then Mine Shack looked normal.
During the 2008 and 2009 Medieval Party, the Mine Shack was a cave entrance and there were stacks of gold on the mine carts. There was also three signs near the cave entrance, one reading "No Knights" another reading "Princesses Welcome" and the third read "Beware of the Dragon."
During both Water Parties (2007 and 2008) there was a giant bucket that filled with water and tipped over, spilling the water.
During Christmas Party 2008, the Mine Shack was a gingerbread house.
During the April Fool's Party 2009, the Mine Shack had boxes around it.
During the Halloween Party 2009, the Mine Shack turned into the Haunted House, a Members-only area. You can currently get two free items, the Pumpkin Head and the Silly Scarecrow Suit.
There is a bucket of water that holds water running down the pipes, but since that it never rains in Club Penguin, it is unknown where the water came from.
In 22nd - 28th January 2010, there is the Cave party with a digging area, lake and an underwater room.

Town Center
The Town is the central area in Club Penguin, which a penguin will often arrive first at, because it is the first designated spawn point, the town can house 100 penguins. The Coffee Shop, Dance Club, and Gift Shop are in the Town. The path to the left leads to the Dock. The path to the right leads to the Snow Forts. Rockhopper usually doesn't appear here. The Town's status as most frequently visited room is rivaled only by the Plaza, which follows the same theme of three buildings and two exits.
Tour Guide Description "Welcome to the Town Center! This is often the first place you visit. If Club Penguin is having a party... this room is usually well decorated for it."
On June 20, 2008, there was an earthquake at the town. It damaged the town severely. It was revealed in a PSA mission that Herbert P. Bear caused this with a giant drill made with parts of the Clock Tower.
It is one of the busiest places in Club Penguin.
A lot of member penguins advertise their Igloo parties there.
After the Storm of 2008 if you clicked the 'N' in Night Club, a ninja would jump from building to building and then out of view. This started the rumor of Ninjas on the island.
During construction for the Puffle Party, Penguins could (purposely) walk on the Gift Shop and the Coffee Shop walls.
When a penguin is created, the first place he/she goes is usually the town.
The town is one of the oldest rooms, dating back to Penguin Chat 3.
It is rumored what the balls outside the Gift Shop are; they are probably Color balls.
The Town is the most common place a penguin would end up after logging on Club Penguin.
According to the information supplied by the prewritten Tour Guide text, when Club Penguin has a party, the town is very well decorated for it.
It was fully decorated for the Puffle Party 2009. Some ladders were hung on the the rooftops of the Coffee Shop and the Gift Shop.
During the Halloween Party 2009, it was well decorated

Ice Rink
The Ice Rink is a rink where penguins could play hockey by sliding to where the puck was and hitting the puck into the nets. If you went out the door, you ended up at the Snow Forts. The Ice Rink was replaced by the Soccer Pitch during the Penguin Games, and ever since, the Soccer Pitch and Ice Rink alternate
You could also sit on the benches to be in the crowd and root for the blue team and/or red team.
When seen from the Snow Forts, the Ice Rink has two sets of seats, a scoreboard, and stadium lights but when you are inside the Ice Rink, it has regular lights, only one set of seats, and no scoreboard.
In Mission 1, the circle on the top right side (see picture) is cut by a penguin with a green snorkel. Therefore, some penguins believe there might be a new room under there saying: PEEK-A-BOO!. Some think that the penguin with a green snorkel opened one of the windows in the Cave (see picture) and dived up. That explains why there was water leaking.
When the Soccer Pitch was replaced, more protests for the Ice Rink have been made.
When the Ice Rink came back in December 2008, there was a glitch that when penguins were on the rink, they wouldn't slip as they waddled. This glitch was fixed.
On the Spy Phone after the rink came back, it still said PITCH.
Unlike the Soccer Pitch, there is only one stand.
The Ice Rink was scheduled to make a comeback on November 27, 2009 but came back one day earlier on November 26, 2009
A glitch occurred on November 26, 2009. The map showed the Ice Rink but when the cursor was over the picture, the label said "Soccer Pitch".
Another glitch ocurred on November 27, 2009,November 28, 2009 and November 29 2009. You would slip even in the stands.
Another glitch occured on a unknown date on one server making you unable to move, chat, use emotes, throw snowballs, etc.
During the Christmas Party 2005, the ice rink had a Christmas Tree,a present, and a snowman.
The Keeper of the Boiler Room with the puck. The Rink Nets were replaced by igloo objects in the 2006 April Fool's Party. On the right there was a refrigerator and on the left there was a rare desk.
They added a scoring system during the 2006 Sports party and they kept it afterward. However, a few months later they said they were having bugs with it and they removed it. They promised to put them back, but they never did.
During the 2007 Water Party, the Ice Rink became the Water Rink, and penguins could play water polo there, and push a volleyball into the goals. This reappeared at the 2008 Water Party.
The puck was a pumpkin during the Halloween 2007 party.
There used to be a puffle that jumped up when you pointed at the lamp post toward the bottom of the screen. They had to remove it during the 2006 Sports Party, and it never returned.
In August 2006 there was a big hockey game between Team Red and Team Blue.
In the 2008 April Fool's Party, the sign "Super Rink" became "Super Duper Rink".
During the Medieval Party 2008, the Ice Rink became a jousting arena.
In mid-July 2008 (new features launching), The Keeper of the Boiler Room is controlling the puck's movements so that at that time penguins couldn't play Hockey, as no matter what you did, it would still only be controlled by the "Keeper". This was because of a glitch being fixed.
During the Music Jam Party in July 2008, the nets and puck were put away to make room for a hard core rocker band stage. The sign in the Snow Forts called it the "Rock Rink".
During the Penguin Games the Ice Rink was changed to a soccer field called Soccer Pitch and it stayed, but the Ice Rink returned in mid-December.
When the Ice Rink returned, it was decorated with Christmas trees and candy canes for the party.
In the Adventure Party 2009, the Ice Rink was a pool and had a yellow water polo ball instead of a normal hockey puck.
In the Winter Party 2009 the Ice Rink had balloons.
At the Holiday Party 2009,the Ice Rink had scatterd toys,(just like most rooms)
You could also sit on the benches to be in the crowd and root for the blue team and/or red team.

Soccer Pitch
The Soccer Pitch was a temporary members only room added on August 22, 2008 during the Penguin Games. After the Party, the room was kept permanently and opened up to non-members. It was another addition to "The Party" series. Although it did become the successor of the Ice Rink, it was temporarily removed. On June 17, 2009, after the Adventure Party 2009 ended, the Pitch returned, but on November 26, 2009, the Ice Rink returned again. It might be home of the Flippin' Athletics & Avalanche Rescue Penguin League Baseball next year.
The Tour Guide briefing on the place goes as follows:
"Welcome to the Soccer Pitch, kick around here with your friends, may the best team win!"
There is an air ship that had "GOOD DAY" written on the side (a parody of Goodyear).
These were removed after the party ended:
Floodlights.
Stands like those in the Ice Rink.

Penguin Foot Ball Chat
Penguin Football Chat (also known as Penguin Soccer Chat) is a unique version of Penguin Chat. Players are represented as a penguin avatar dressed in a football uniform with two numbers and colors of their choice. Unlike Penguin Chat, Penguin Football Chat has four rooms. The rooms in order are an upper-left to bottom-right diagonal field with red goals, an upper-right lower-left field with green goals, a field the same as the first field except that it has light blue goals, and a field the same as field two, but with black goals. However, these remain unnamed except for the fact that in the rooms menu, they are named with a number each. You can choose an outfit each time you log on. Everything you say appears in a small white box. When you log on, it says in the box, "[Your name] has entered the world" or, when you log off, "[Your name] has left the world".
It is called Penguin Football Chat, as the original name of the sport is "Football", while "Soccer" is said in North America
There is no swear filter on the game, making it possible to swear and not get a ban.
Many penguins think that Hockey on Club Penguin came from Football Chat.
Unlike Club Penguin, there are no moderators, although you may see moderator impersonators.
There is a VERY high chance you will see some penguins claiming to be famous.
You do not really have a constant log in (no username or password), you can choose a different name every time you log in.
Sometimes, if someone chooses an inappropriate name, it will not let you in.
Unlike Penguin Chat and Club Penguin, you can create a username with one word, but contains both lowercase and capital letters, like "tEsT".
Unlike Club Penguin, you can log in with two penguins at the same time, with the same computer.
Not many people are aware of this game. There are not many Penguins playing this game anymore.
You can choose the name rsnail in this game, but you need to use a uppercase "i" instead of a "l" at the end of the name.
This game is similar to Club Penguin's Soccer Pitch.
It is really hard to get the ball in the goal

Card-Jitsu
Card-Jitsu is a card game played in the Dojo (and in the Ninja Hideout). To get there, players need to go to the Dojo Courtyard and enter through doors (if you are a Ninja, go to the Dojo Courtyard, hover your mouse over the protruding stone wall on the left, and click the door that will automatically appear to enter the hideout).
On their first visit, they must talk to the Sensei. He will explain what to do, as well as giving them a starter pack.
According to the Belts Legend, belts are earned faster if players use competition mode instead of playing on a mat. The belts rank from white belt to black belt (excluding the rank of Ninja).
Since the 28th of May 2009, players could see their deck at the Dojo and Dojo Courtyard. They need to click on the 3 cards that are at the down-right angle of the screen.
Playing in real lifeAs well as appearing as an online battle game, Card Jitsu also appears as a set of trading cards. These cards came with codes which, when unlocked they would earn 4 Card Jitsu cards (3 average, 1 special power). When first made, the series had 94 cards, but they released a special puffle set in the US, with around 30 different cards.
The rules are practically the same, although you could now play quick mode, which ignores the special power card's effects.
Playing Online
A typical game of Card-Jitsu.Once players have the Starter Pack from the Sensei, go to a mat, or talk to the Sensei and select Competition Mode (as mentioned before, competition mode is recommended as you get new belts quicker doing it). If they use a mat, they will have to wait for another player to come and play with them, which might take a while. If no one comes to your mat, switch to a busier server, or a match can also be found in under 10 seconds by speaking to the Sensei via Competition Mode.
The aim of the game is to beat opponents by collecting sets of winning Card-Jitsu cards. Only certain cards will beat others, via the form of Rock Paper Scissors. It has similarities to the card game Rummy in the sense that players are required to collect sets (known as "runs" in Rummy) to win. The game applies everyday elements and logic.
Once players have an opponent, they will be taken to the arena, and will bow to each other. They then have 20 seconds to choose a card. If they fail to choose a card, one will automatically be selected after 20 seconds. Once both players have chosen a card, they are revealed. Then winner keeps the card to help make a set. Remember that:
Fire beats Snow
Snow beats Water
Water beats Fire
However, in the event of similar types of cards being drawn, the card with the highest number wins. If the numbers also match, then no-one wins that round. Although there are lots of phenomena that can affect this, which explained in detail, later in the article.
[edit] Winning There are two ways to win Card-Jitsu. Firstly, players can have the same type of card (such as Snow), but three in different colours, such as Red, Blue and Green. Alternatively, you can have one of each card, in different colors. You can also see how to win by mousing over the question mark "?" in a game.
[edit] Actions When players win a round, your penguin might perform an action. They are as follows:
Snow: The player's penguin hits the opponent with a snowball.
Water: The player's penguin hits the opponent with a water balloon.
Fire: The player's penguin squirts hot sauce at the other penguin's feet.
Power Cards: What power cards do is decided by which power card it is.
Cards For a list of cards and its special effects see Card-Jitsu Cards.
edit Earning Belts After playing a certain number of games, players are rewarded with a belt:
White belt - 5 total Battles needed.
Yellow belt - 13 total Battles needed.
Orange belt - 21 total Battles needed.
Green belt - 30 total Battles needed.
Blue belt - 40 total Battles needed.
Red belt - 52 total Battles needed.
Purple belt - 64 total Battles needed.
Brown belt - 76 total Battles needed.
Black belt - 88 total Battles needed.
Becoming a Ninja To become a Ninja, players must beat Sensei after winning a Black belt. But beating Sensei is difficult as he has cards never seen in the deck that he gives players. There are Level 11 cards and rare Level 12 cards which are rarely seen. Sensei also seems to be rigged as when played against him as he always picks the card that wins. However after players lose to him a few times (usually 5 or 6) he stops playing unfairly and they will have a chance to beat him.
In certain cases you are rewarded a belt regardless.
Tips See Main Article: Card Jitsu/Tactics Guide
Use Logic to try to beat your opponents. For example, if a player has one Fire-type and one Snow-type card, they would probably use a water-type card so you should use a snow type card. But if the penguin who is fighting with you is a high belt penguin, they know if they choose water and you choose snow you would win. So they choose Fire-type card to defeat your snow. This way it is better to choose a water-type card.
When fighting Sensei use Fire and Water back and forth to win easier. It won't always work but it will eventually. And if you do not have a water/fire card just use the same element you did last time, but don't use snow.
Most players of Card-Jitsu have developed "special techniques" to help them win almost every game. These tactics can vary from their starter card, to the last card, or which cards to playing a difficult situation.
Predicting your opponent's next move will help you greatly when playing Card-Jitsu. If they also predict your move, this is known as a "double-bluff", and can sometimes backfire onto you.
Typically you have a 1 and a half chance in winning a round. These chances increase under certain circumstances.
If you see the symbol at the top of the screen saying 9<->1, then always play a LOW numbered card. You now have a 2/3 chance in winning that round.
If you are a person with a high belt (brown black etc.)and the person you're playing is or almost is the same belt as you,and you for example have two snow but no fire or water. It would be safe to pick a high snow because the other person thinks you will try to trick them,so they think it would be safe to pick water.
Most players try to win by getting a snow, fire, and water. Try to win by getting a three-of-a-kind.
A common method is to use 2 cards of a certain element. For an example, if they have 2 fire cards, they expect you to use water. You will have to use fire yourself. If you're the one tricking, double-fool them by using water.
Card-Jitsu Fire Main article: Card-Jitsu Fire
The Card-Jitsu Fire is the latest mini-game in Club Penguin. It's actually held in the Volcano. Only Ninjas that are Members will have access to enter and play the game. Card-Jitsu Fire is also multiplayer, with a maximum of 4 players at once.
Trivia When Card-Jitsu was opened to play, it was so popular that, sometimes it said "This room is currently full". Read more here.
In The Penguin Times Issue #160, if you clicked the letters N, I, and N in the word Lightning, the letter J in Dojo, and the letter A in Damaged (This spells Ninja), a stone tablet would appear saying: "fire, water, snow the triangle of power your journey's first step" This obviously refers to Card-Jitsu and simply was a clue about the upcoming game.
In November 2008 there was a glitch that you could not go in competition mode to compete.
Card-Jitsu is the only game (excluding the games from the Fall Fairs where you earn tickets) you can't get Coins from.
When you click on the mats, it says, practice Card Jitsu, so you get very little experience for participating.
The "Ninja" Power card is one of the rarest cards you can get.
You can send your friends a Penguin Mail postcard challenging them to a match of Card Jitsu.
In Card Jitsu, there is a pink confetti-like object that pops out of a penguin's mouth when they are hit with a water balloon. No one knows what it is. It's most likely a piece of balloon or possibly a small fish.
During the 2009 April Fools party, after you played Card-Jitsu, you will stand on the left top corner of the Dojo.
There is a Snow type card that has a group of penguins with a beta hat on it.
Puffle cards were recently added.
On May 28 features were added to the Ninja areas. That feature will show how many cards you have and in what belt you are, etc.. These features only apply on the Ninja Hideout, Dojo, Dojo Courtyard.
Since May 2009, the Ninja Progress replaced the Starter Pack.
After the May updates when you get your white, blue or black belt, Sensei will send you a postcard.
Card-Jitsu is one of the most popular games around the island.
Cards rank from 2 to 12; however, this might not be accurate since Club Penguin is making more different cards.
Sensei has every card.
When you unlock trading card Codes you unlock three normal cards and one power card.
Power Cards are less rare nowadays, and might eventually be 75% of a user's deck.
Card Jitsu Fire is our journeys next step and Sensei said "this journey wont be easy... You'll need skills, patience, and lots of hot sauce!!!"
A Card Jitsu Fire sneak peek can be seen in Club Penguin's What's New, in their website.
Card Jitsu Fire will also have its own series in cards, called Card Jitsu Fire.
Many penguins find that the more power cards you have, the more lower cards you have.
Some penguins make their own Dojo in their igloo. Some use Blue Yoga Mats for Card-Jitsu mats.
Here Are Some Pics

Aqua Grabber
Aqua Grabber is a game in Club Penguin that is only accessible through the Iceberg. In Aqua Grabber, you have to collect treasure from 2 different levels. The Aqua Grabber was originally created to retrieve parts from Rockhopper’s sunken ship, the Migrator (which is now restored).
Objective of Game Clam Waters: The objective of this level is to collect all the pearls in the clams and the “Main Treasure” (the giant pearl) shown in the map before players actually play. The Rare Treasure of the level is a black pearl. Also, an additional goal is to beat the level without losing a submarine.
Soda Seas: The objective is to get all the Cream Soda barrels, and then get the Main Treasure (the Amethyst). The rare treasure of this level is the Emerald. Also, an additional goal is to beat the level without losing a submarine. In this level you must find a worm, catch a fish, and use the fish to catch Mullet. If you don’t do this, you cannot get the Emerald. However, this is a little hard as when you catch the fish, it will try to push your sub to the wall.
In both levels, after you finish these objectives, you can enter it again and try to accomplish two challenges: the time challenge and the compressed air challenge, in which you move much faster, and a single hit can explode you.
Air
A Penguin that is about to drown.
If the player’s submarine is getting too much water, they should look for these things because the player will lose if they let the submarine fill up with water:
Giant Bubbles
Bubble Blowers
Top of the sea
Air Pockets
Pink Puffle (if you brought one)
Dangers
If any thing hits players (except the shells), these things will happen :
Makes you move to another side.
Makes water come into the Aqua Grabber.
If you have a something with you it will drop.
Areas
Clam Waters
Soda Seas
Creatures & Items
Fluffy the Fish.
The Mullet.
The Shell.
Big Bertha.
Puffer Fish.
The Giant Squid in the Penguin Times.
Big Bertha
After Aqua Grabber was updated for the third time, Big Bertha appeared to the direct left of where the treasure chest originally lay.
Mullet
The Mullet will be found after or when players hold the treasure chest or Grand Pearl.
Pink Puffle
If players brought their pink puffle and play this game, it will dive with them. It blows bubbles from time to time, and if players lose a lot of air, it will blow a giant bubble under their ship.
Shells
Shells are small blue items that hold a pearl each. And the pearl is what players should take. There is also a Black Pearl, which is worth 50 coins, double that of a normal Pearl. It may possibly a reference to the Black Pearl (a ship) from the Disney series of movies Pirates Of The Caribbean.
Grand Pearl
It is found at the at a cave on the sea floor at Clam Waters which is inside Big Bertha’s mouth. The Mullet guards the entrance only if you have the pearl. If successfully recovered you will be awarded 300 coins.
Dead Seaweed
They are found in Soda Seas. Once you pick up Cream Soda, the water gets fresher and fresher until they are back to life.
Cream Soda
They pollute the sea. Once successfully recovered, you will gain 50 Coins and fresher water.
Puff Almighty
It is found near the end of Soda Seas. There are only four of them. Once that the players have the Amethyst, more Puff Almighty will appear on the screen.
Big Puff
It is found in the end of Soda seas. It sucks in water to inflate and spits out water to deflate. Players and their submarine will also be affected.
Giant Squid
As revealed in The Penguin Times Issue No. 151, there have been sightings of a Giant Squid. This used to be rumored as the Guardian in level 2 of Aqua Grabber. The actual guardian in level two is a giant puffer fish. On level one(1)you can occasionally find the squid when an earthquake happens. The squid is black and blue and then it swims away. When it happens there’s a screeching sound and the screen shakes all over the place.
Trivia
If you bump the top of a particular cave in the Soda Seas, players will get a worm. Fluffy will eat the worm, then you can feed him to a mullet guarding a cave. The mullet will go away and you can swim down to get some extra treasure.
If players don’t move and the submarine is going down below sea level, the water will not go up to their submarine.
If the player completes the normal mode, they will unlock several other modes, including time trials. If they complete time trials on time, they will unlock compressed air mode, in which the player moves very fast without letting any air into the sub.
In Compressed Air Mode, it is impossible to get the secret worm in Soda Seas, as the player loses a life when hitting the cave a wall.
You can send other players a Penguin Mail card that says you want them to check out Aqua Grabber.
There was once a Aqua Grabber pin.
It is possible to receive only a single coin at the end of the game, but it can only be done in Clam Waters. You must go to the bottom of the sea, where Big Bertha resides. Then pick up the pearl-shaped rock. That item is worth only one coin.
There is an Aqua Grabber vehicle, like the Snow Trekker. It includes the Scuba Diver from series 1, a clam with a pearl, and a treasure chest.
The Giant Squid.
There may be a third level because there is a Puffer Fish Pin hidden at the Iceberg.
The noise that the Giant Squid made before it came, was removed because young children were scared by it.
The aqua grabber is in the second cave in the mine expedition in the mine.
In Sods Seas if you get a barrel of cream soda and bring it to the net you will get 50 coins (per barrel)
During the Cave Expedition 2010, in the Hidden Lake, there is a broken Aqua Grabber. This might have to do with Misson 11 or a new level.
The Cave Expidition’s underwater room may have some thing to do with the giant squid. History
The Aqua Grabber was built in February 2008 by Gary the Gadget Guy.
Its name was a choice given in a poll. Second to it was the Deep Sea Salvage.
It was originally built to rescue parts of Rockhopper’s ship which was damaged when it crashed, as part of the Save The Migrator project.
The items you had to get were part of the Migrator unlike the Aqua Grabber today
About half an year ago, Aqua Grabber was updated. Before, there was only one level, and all you had to do is find a Treasure Chest and bring it up to the net, and then the game was over.
Objective of Game Clam Waters: The objective of this level is to collect all the pearls in the clams and the “Main Treasure” (the giant pearl) shown in the map before players actually play. Penguin Chat 3
Penguin Chat 3 is the third installment to the Penguin Chat series, that was created by Rsnail. You used to be able to play it on “www.rocketsnail.com”, but as of now, they have closed down the site so everyone visits [1] instead. It can still be played at a remake, though it is only a minor version.
Penguin Chat 3 was a free online MMOG, and therefore required no membership. There were no coins or any other way of earning currency, and the purpose of PC3 was to simply chat and have some fun.

Ninja
Ninjas were secret in PC3. When you opened up the color select window, if you clicked the “n” in “Select Your New Penguin”, a ninja color would pop out. Once you selected the ninja outfit as a color, you would have a black color, with a headband, belt, and sword on your back. Dancing would make it transparent, identical to dancing as a ninja in Club Penguin.
Construction Worker
You could also be a construction worker. You had to click on the hook of the crane in the sky (the crane was behind a fence in the back) in the snowfields that were right of the Town to get the hard hat (you did not have a player card back then, so you did not really get a hard hat, you just wore one). If you danced, you would be drilling the ground and if you went into the middle snow fields, you would be driving a snowcat, a special form of transportation forever immortalized when it was once shown on the wall of the Pizza Parlor, and is a CP pop culture top subject, but was only available on Penguin Chat 3.
Toolbar
In the toolbar, there was the chatbox, the snowball button, the actions button, a report button, the emotes button, a “Tell a Joke” button, and the enter button. There was an arrow button that collapsed the chatbox to make the toolbar smaller. To change color, you would click a color change button on the chatbar, and select a different color. There was a chat history and report button on the upper left of the screen. Judging from the pictures found, there is also a heart button and a musical note button. These are actually two emotes that are still on Club Penguin so it is believed they were just two other emotes you can do. There seems to be a couple help buttons on the right of the toolbar as well (probably for technical assistance, etc.).
Differences from Club Penguin
Snowballs
Snowballs were also available in Penguin Chat 3, however the crosshair was different, and after aiming, the desired position may not be the one that occurs.
Penguins
Penguins changed their appearance slightly during the the transition of PC3 to CP, although they retained the same cartoon concept. Penguins in Penguin Chat 3 used to be a bit more complex, there was a fair bit of bevel on them, colours were more realistic and darker and their body shape was a lot more pointy and less curved. Club Penguin’s penguins seem to almost have a more child-friendly and cartoony appearance.
Igloos
In PC3 penguins didn’t own their own igloos, however one public one was later available in one of the empty rooms, which was also the new home of the PC3 Band.
Membership
Because Penguin Chat 3 was simply a chatroom, items and membership weren’t available. Furthermore, membership wouldn’t have had any benefit to any penguin in the game, because of the lack of fundementals to provide membership priveleges anyway.
Trivia
The songs that played in Penguin Chat 3 were, “I’m at 9933″, “I’ve Been Delayed” (both performed by TAS 1000), and “Banana Phone“.
Many things from Penguin Chat 3 are in Club Penguin now.
If you take the SWF to it, you can see what it looked like, but actually no longer works.
rsnail drew it, but Screenhog drew Club Penguin and it looks very similar still.
There were no puffles in Penguin Chat 3 so when it was going on,maybe some penguins pretended to be the Keeper of the Boiler Room.
The Gift Shop was there, but nobody could go in it, however if you walked into it, you could buy real life stuff, on Rocketsnail.com.
